THURS 24 February 11:00  – 12:30 pm WHERE? @ZOOM   FEBRUARY FOCUS:  To celebrate LGBTQIA+ History Month this February, Future Museum Network & Cornwall Museums Partnership’s Engagement Network have invited Sophie Meyer of Queer Kernow to talk about her pioneering work, identifying Queer heritage in Cornwall. Starting with a digital project in Royal Cornwall Museum Sophie has developed Queer Kernow into a successful CIC and plays a key role in Cornwall Pride, which is celebrating 15 years in Cornwall. Sophie will be talking about her approaches to, ‘Queering the Archive’, her current exhibition, which displays a collection of ‘Outback’ vibrant Lesbian newsletters from the archives at Kresen Kernow and the relationship between Queer Kernow and Pride. Hosted by Claire English, CMP Trainee Curator Programme Producer – bringing together Museum Engagement and emerging Arts and Museum professionals. WHAT?
